Manuel Lariño, born in La Coruña, Spain, is an artist and illustrator who in recent years has focused his career on generative art, creating collections through algorithms and code.
After graduating with honors in Fine Arts and Illustration at the Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida, Larino began a career as a commercial artist. His client list includes respected magazines, book publishers, and advertising agencies such as Esquire Magazine, Paste Magazine, Faber & Faber, along with various newspapers and record labels.
His work in illustration has been recognized with several awards and exhibited in various galleries in Spain as well as in New York, Los Angeles, London, and Florida among others.
In recent years, Manuel has shifted his focus toward more personal projects, drawing inspiration from within to craft digital artworks using algorithms and code. His work creates narratives that encourage the audience to engage and interpret actively.
His first long-form generative collection explores the connection between rain and human emotions, released on ArtBlocks in 2023.
